Ayers Rock er en gigantisk klippe i den australske ørken 400 km sydvest for Alice Springs. Klippen, der består af rødbrun arkose (en art sandsten), er ca. 2,5 km lang, 1,5 km bred og rejser sig 335 m over den omgivende slette. Ayers Rock er et helligt sted for Australiens aboriginere.
